Camaraderie of Courage honors and pays tribute to the Soldiers we so tragically lost from 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division. We wish we were able to honor the memory of our Fallen together this year, but encourage you to join us virtually through this video and at home.

We strive to provide support and bring honor to the memory of the 1 BCT Soldiers we've so tragically lost.  The annual Gold Star Dinner, supporting the Units within 1st Brigade in creation and renovation of their memorials, and assisting soldiers in attending dedications and special memorial events are just some of the ways we try to fulfill the Camaraderie of Courage mission.  

 

We are looking to include interested Gold Star Families in Camaraderie of Courage events and planning.  If you are a  1 BCT Gold Star Family Member and are interested in participating as a board member or volunteer with Camaraderie of Courage please send us a message.  We'd love to hear from you!

Our annual 1 BCT Gold Star Dinner is held on at the Savory Downtown in Watertown, NY.  The Gold Star Families and be able to share stories with fellow Soldiers and leadership throughout the Battalions.  We have had wonderful guest speakers over the years including, Medal of Honor Recipient Gary Beikrich and Jeff Struecker. We love spending time with the 1 BCT Gold Star Families and hope to see them again soon!  

Our annual Memorial Walk honors all those Fallen in combat from 1st Brigade.  Gold Star Families and Soldiers walked the track solemnly, seeing each Soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.  

Camaraderie of Courage had the privilege to fund a memorial bench and patio at the property of a local 1st Brigade Gold Star Family. It was constructed by Camaraderie of Courage Board Member, Bronwyn Wilson, and her father, Bob Rinehart.
